About Sandycroft Publishing

Founded in 2013, Sandycroft Publishing is an independent publisher dedicated to bringing worthwhile classic books back into print. Our growing catalog of more than 130 titles ranges from history, biography, and literature to folklore, travel, adventure, and classic books for children. All were selected from works that had long been out of print and deserved to be discovered again.

Every Sandycroft edition is carefully prepared from the original work. Texts are digitised, proofread, corrected, and reformatted, with close attention given to preserving the character and integrity of the original. Many editions also include newly written introductions, author biographies, historical notes, glossaries, or other supplementary material.

Where original illustrations exist, they are restored with particular care. Some books also include additional portraits, maps, or other historically appropriate images, while selected titles are available in special color-illustrated editions through the Sandycroft Publishing online shop.

Our aim is to preserve important and enjoyable books from the past while presenting them in attractive, thoughtfully produced paperback and hardcover editions that can be read, shared, and treasured for years to come.
